Frequently Asked Questions

Shipping

We offer free shipping on all orders in the U.S. excluding Hawaii and Alaska.  Some items do not ship for free, they are noted on the product's page.  We do not ship outside the U.S.  You will receive a tracking number after the order is placed and shipped.  All items in stock ship out in 1-2 business days.  If an item is not in stock it will ship as soon as it is available.  Typically, small orders of 1-2 items ship out the same day they are ordered, if they are ordered before 1 pm CST, Monday through Friday.  We do not ship items on Saturday or Sunday so any orders placed then will ship on Monday. Shipment transit times are 2-7 business days depending on your location.  If you need expedited shipping or would like to know when you can expect your package to arrive please contact us.

What are the payment options?

We accept all major credit cards and Paypal.

What is your return policy?

We stand behind our products.  If you are not satisfied with your purchase you can return for 100% refund or exchange within 30 days after receipt.  If items are damaged or missing we will pay the return shipping costs.

How long do the contents of the kits last?

The food rations and water are recommended to be used in 5 years.  Hand warmers and water purification powder should be replaced after about 3 years, they are not unusable but may be less effective.

Do you offer discounts?

We have sale items at different times throughout the year.  Subscribe to our email list to find out when items go on sale.  We send emails infrequently and never send "spam".

Is there any extra space in the backpack kits with all the items packed?

Are the backpacks waterproof?

There is some extra space inside our emergency backpack kits.  Enough room for a few extra personal items or important documents/prescriptions.

The backpacks are water-resistant but not waterproof. However, the Stealth Bug-out Bag has a waterproof cover rolled up in a pocket. In rain, you pull out the waterproof cover and fit tightly over the backpack; effectively protecting the pack from heavy rain.  Not meant to be submerged in water.
